Occasional knee locking/giving when walking?

I’m 7 weeks post op after 6 weeks NWB (so only been back walking a week).

Not sure how to describe the feeling but sometimes when I’m taking a step with my non-operated leg (so my operated leg is behind me ready to take a step, in extended position) it kinda locks/gives a little bit. Not painful at all or followed by any swelling but reminds me of being pre-op and having that unstable feeling.

Maybe tracking this to quad weakness/lingering swelling? Anyone else had post op locking/giving?

Will discuss with my surgeon next week in my followup but just curious!

First steps after 6 weeks NWB

Cried happy tears today. After 6 agonising weeks of NWB I’ve finally taken my first steps 😭😭 baby steps to start waking up the muscles slowly. I’ll never take walking for granted again. To those who are post-op/NWB, your moment will come and it will be EVERYTHING you’ve dreamed of and more 😭

Now bring on the strength rebuilding!
