

F33 finished in 3:08:30. FAR exceeded expectations. At mile 16 I thought to myself wait I don’t want this to end! Was hoping for 3:30 going in and did a version of the runners world 3:30 training plan with a good amount of extra miles. Had a fantastic training block and just felt good all around. I’ve been running since I was 12 but never much more than 25mpw but have done 25mpw for a long long time. Also have a 10mo old. Of course now I have the bug! Is it reasonable to think I could break 3:00?! If so in how long? Is a year not long enough? I did 0 strength training this block so definitely have room to improve. Is a round of Pfitz 18/55 enough to improve on this time or would you do 18/70? Or something else entirely? Thanks for the advice! My husband is tired of hearing me relive the day so had to come here :)
