I have a Pixel 3 watch and a Pixel 9 phone. When I start and finish an activity like walking or biking on my watch, it records the route, and properly displays it on the phones Fitbit app after I get back home to the phone. If I happen to be carrying my phone on my person while doing the same activity and using my watch to record it, the Fitbit app omits the first third or so of the route. Either way (phone on me or not), total steps, distance, and time recorded are accurate.

I've tried manually syncing data, setting location services to always on in the Fitbit app, clearing cache. Any ideas?
