Credit card dispute = warranty coverage?
I am considering the Portola. Looks like a great bargain, but I see the CS complaints on this sub, Trustpilot, BBB. The limited warranty is essentially an As-Is agreement. Damaged in transist = Customer’s responsibility. Functionally defective = No replacement bike, parts only, DIYouTube. Return shipping / restocking fee = $200.
Has anyone used a chargeback if Ride1up fails to deliver a proper bike? It would be my last resort, if need be. $1000 is too much to throw away for a dud.
