1 month of Linux Mint

Finally joined the club! I recently managed to snag a used ThinkPad for an absolute steal, and instead of sticking with Windows, I decided to take the plunge and flash Linux Mint on it. This is my very first time using Linux as my daily driver, and I am completely blown away.

The installation was incredibly smooth, the system is blazing fast, and customizing the desktop environment to look and feel exactly how I want has been an absolute blast.

Since I'm still pretty new to the Linux ecosystem, I want to make sure I'm getting the most out of this machine and the OS. To all the Mint veterans and long-time Linux users out there: what is your number one piece of advice for a beginner?

Whether it's essential terminal commands, cool customization tools, for ThinkPads, or just general philosophy on how to not break my system—I’d love to hear it.

[And I am super proud of my wallpaper ❤️]

Guys, any good iems with good build quality and preferably good for asmr under ₹3k?

I am using the realme buds t310 and portability is great but the sound quality feels too underwhelming.

So I m planning to purchase this used t14 gen 1 and I found it on used marketplace.

[ryzen 5 pro processor with radeon graphics]

[256gb ssd and 8gb ddr4 3200mhz ram]

[Touch support]

It had been used for three years apparently and so the battery was not working but the battery was just replaced by the seller yesterday.

They are putting this on sale for ₹27k

Is this a good deal? Any advice or past experience from buying a used thinkpad would be appreciated.
