Help needed: Croatia Schengen Visa stuck at New Delhi embassy - Flight in 10 days
I'm in a really stressful situation and would appreciate any advice from people who've dealt with this.
Timeline:
Application submitted: 10/04/2026
Application sent to embassy: 13/04/2026
Current status: "Under Process" at New Delhi Embassy (VFS portal)
Flight departure: 28/05/2026 (10 days away)
The problem:
It's been over a month since my application reached the embassy and I still haven't received my visa. The VFS status portal just keeps saying "Under Process" with no updates. I'm genuinely worried I won't get my passport back in time for my flight next week.
Questions:
Is there any way to expedite this? Can I contact the embassy directly or VFS to request priority processing?
Has anyone dealt with similar situations where the visa was processed just days before their travel date?
I'm trying not to panic, but 10 days is cutting it really close. Any experiences or advice from people who've been through this would be much appreciated. What are my realistic options right now?
