Road trip through Finland in 6–7 day, how much budget should I realistically keep?

I’m planning a 6–7 day road trip in Finland this summer, starting from Riga and heading to Helsinki first (by ferry) . After that, the rough plan is Helsinki, Koli, Tampere, Pori, and maybe even further north if we have enough time.

I’ll be traveling with Finnish friends, and I’ll mostly stay with them, so accommodation is thankfully not a huge expense for me.

What I’m trying to figure out now is how much spending money I should realistically keep for the trip.

The plan is:

  • Breakfast will mostly be groceries or food we make at home
  • Lunch and dinner will usually be outside somewhere
  • I’ll probably buy some souvenirs, snacks, and random stuff too
  • Might need a SIM/mobile data plan as well
  • We’ll mostly be traveling around by car

I’ve heard Finland can get pretty expensive, especially for food and other activities, so I’m wondering what kind of budget would actually feel comfortable for a trip like this.

For people who’ve done road trips around Finland, How much do you usually spend per day on food and stuff

I am 23F living abroad.. and recently i have been battling depression due to extreme homesickness, stress from med school, and body image issues and such

and amongst all this, the only comfort i found was food.. i started off the month of March with plans of losing weight i started cutting down my calories and such.. getting 5k every day.. but then everything just came crumbling down.. i quit my diet, stopped working out, and started extreme binging.. I can't figure out why..

now everyday i wake up , or the only motivation i have is what am gonna eat today.

i feel so helpless writing.. i wasted 14 days of this month doing nothing.. not even studying for my upcoming med exams.. whereas all my friends are prepping for the exams,am just wasting my days.. binge eating and not looking after myself.. i forgot when was the last time i even took a shower...

i cant anymore..

hey guys, so short story : one of my close friends' birthdays is coming up and we are planning to visit Riga as a part of it! its a short trip of 3 days
I was wondering if there are any good restaurants to host a small birthday dinner, or especially places that help organize little surprises, like bringing out a cake with sparklers or doing something special for birthdays
