Hair shed / irritated scalp

Hair shed / irritated scalp

Hello again everybody I have made a post regarding hair shed before but I have a new concern

I am starting month 4 of accutane 40 mg. I have an EXTREMELY itchy scalp and don’t know what to do! The more it itches, the more hair I shed (and naturally shed much less hair than the average person like it would normally take me 2 weeks to shed this much hair)

I’ve already gotten two different dermatologist opinions and one prescribed me with a steroid called clobetasol propionate topical solution 0.05% for two weeks which didn’t rlly do anything and one prescribed me a 2% ketokonazole shampoo which worked for a few weeks but for some reason stopped working

I wash every 2-3 days with the ketokonazole shampoo, and I’ve tried the ordinary moisturizing factors scalp serum and the kerastase nutritive scalp serum but those are of verrrry minimal help

I assume it’s so itchy bc of how dry it is but i just need new recs and perspectives id appreciate any tips ❤️

For context I have thick low porosity curly hair if that matters

Week 3 hair shedding - Accutane

Helllooo so my hair is shedding double to triple as much as it did before accutane. This is my shed after 3 days of not detangling. My hair started shedding this much in my 2nd week.
I’m going to be on accutane for 5 more months and I started it 3 weeks ago. I’m 106 lbs on 40 mg- my derm put me on 80mg for the first week but my body could not handle it .
Do you guys think my hair will noticeably thin over my course? Before accutane, when I detangled my hair after a week of not detangling, barely anything would come out.
Because of how much I love my hair, I’m debating stopping accutane now. My purge is definitley at its peak though so I’m kinda cooked skin wise if I do now, I’ll attach a pic

Thoughts?

Accutane purge pie

I’ve never had this much acne in my life, and I grow increasingly anxious every day thinking about how it might leave pie behind. I don’t touch my face unless I’m washing it or applying skincare and I’m on 40 mg accutane for 2 weeks so far (this is my second round of accutane, first round was for my body acne and idk how but it went away for 2 years and came back on my face)

Can anybody with a similar situation to mine and complexion let me know how long it took the pie to fade?
