Hi all,

Planning on moving out of my family home next year and will be renting in NSW. Wondering what the other costs of living will be, apart from actual rent?

And do advertised rental prices usually include utilities? Everything I’ve looked at so far doesn’t specify.

Costs I can think of: food, utilities, transport, healthcare, mobile, then discretionary spending - subscriptions, eating out, activities etc.

Would love to know any unexpected costs so I can plan accordingly! Thanks.
