I got a new job!
I just wanted to say thank you to this entire subreddit.
I’ve been an Executive Assistant for over 10 years, and even with that experience I’ve picked up so many useful tricks, tips and perspectives from this community.
The advice and insight I’ve gained here helped me become a stronger EA and ultimately helped me land a much better opportunity that will be life changing for me and my family. I initially was hired for a remote role, which they changed to hybrid making a very expensive, very long commute for me. Also, I hadn’t gotten a raise the past two years. I’ll especially miss my amazing manager and many of my colleagues at this company. It has taken me months to find this new job, but it’s fully remote and the pay is significantly better.
To everyone who takes the time to answer questions, share experiences, comment on posts and support other EAs, thank you! You’ve helped more people than you probably realize.
