Career changer and looking for advice re: CNA or MA
Hi! I hope this is the right sub to post in - I saw some similar threads in other subs but thought this one would give a more unbiased answer. I'm a college grad with a bachelors looking to get into nursing, and I'm trying to get some experience before pursuing an accelerated BSN or an entry-level masters. I want to get some clinical hours under my belt before applying to boost my application and to make sure I actually want to pursue this career. Nurses with experience as either a CNA or a Medical Assistant, would you recommend one over the other, and why? I've seen a lot of conflicting opinions. Thanks for your time!
