The project was Café du Port at Dubai Harbour a full outdoor dining terrace needing chairs, dining tables, lounge sofas, and pouf seating that could handle the waterfront conditions while still feeling elevated.

Outdoor furniture in Dubai gets punished UV, heat, salt air off the water. The usual trap is choosing pieces that look great in a showroom but fade or warp within a season. Our approach: UV-stabilised upholstery, powder-coated aluminium frames, and hardware spec'd for coastal environments. Every piece was custom-made so proportions actually fit the terrace layout.

The result is what you see in the photos a cohesive setting where the furniture doesn't fight the harbour view, it complements it. Guests sit in what feels like a well-designed interior, just open to the water.

If anyone's working on a hospitality project or a residential outdoor space in a hot climate, happy to talk through the material selection process there's a lot of nuance to getting it right in this region.
