What's a frameowrk you constantly use that you've never seen in a textbook

I am new to PM and surrounded by a lot of textbook frameworks. But I know real life is often different. So to all the curious and passionate PM's out there, "What is the one framework that you've used contantly in your work that is never seen in a textbook" and can you give me a specific story where that framework played out really well?

Mtech in PDM-How to get a PM job?

So I have completed my btech in cse from VIT Vellore last year. Took a year drop and now taking admission in IIIT Hyderabad's Mtech in Product Design and Management. I've talked to few seniors they told me college is not bringing companies for this branch. And off campus companies don't hire freshers in PM roles. Can someone please help me out. I can work in startups incubated in the college to gain some hands on experience. There is also a lab where PDM students work on many 0->1 products of their own. I know it will be very difficult but can someone please give me some guidance and advice as in what should i do to maximise my chances of getting placed in good company as a PM. I am willing to work as hard as possible.
