Do people who consider themselves "Marxists" actually read Marx? Especially the economics, volumes 2 or 3 of Capital or Theories of Surplus Value?
- Do you think most people who consider themselves "Marxists" have actually read much Marx?
- Do you consider yourself a Marxist?
- Do you read the economics?
- Do you go beyond volume 1 of Capital? Which?
- Do you just run with whatever "Marxist" narratives from some tradition or other of "Marxists"?
- Are you shooting blind with spontaneous hot takes about whatever feels "radical" at the moment to get likes and scandalize your parents?
- Who said "All I know is that I am not a Marxist?"
- Is there any other tradition with such a uniquely powerful theoretical base and such utterly powerless epigones?
Edit: added 1, rest of the numbers bumped down.
