Phoenix can realistically be changed into a strategist with very little changes
I'm far from the first to say this but she should have been a strategist.
Her inclusion as a duelist is awful not just because she is a duelist. It is because she is a clone of Hela, released right after another duelist (Blade), and in a situation where there is already an egregious imbalance of the roles. Not to mention, in lore the Phoenix is essentially a goddess of life and death and rebirth, who can literally resurrect people from the dead. Can’t you see how much of a missed opportunity that was? Very few changes would even be necessary to change her into a proper strategist anyway. They are as follows;
Reduce her overall damage. Primary fire can now hit and heal allies. Sparks apply to them too.
I’d say give her some form of self healing but she already does, maybe buff it up a little because she does get blown up pretty easily.
Change her ultimate to an explosion that pulsates healing and damaging fire, with the option to cast on a dead ally to revive them, or on herself if she is dead.
That’s it. That’s literally all it would take.
