Here's a redesign of the Idaho Flag. Idaho's nickname is the Gem State, and its state gem is the Star Garnet (shown), which can only be found in Idaho and India, apparently. The rays are evenly spaced at 30 degrees, and the diagonal rays are twice the length of the vertical, making the fun fact that the ratio is actually irrational at 1:√3. Pretty simple flag, but I think it looks nice when waving, and purple flags are pretty rare.
