Hey everyone! I wanted to share a very common roadblock (and the workaround) when trying to register an LLC on SAM.gov to get a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), especially for non-residents or anyone using a Registered Agent address.

The Issue:
When you enter your LLC details using your Registered Agent's physical address, SAM.gov’s automated system triggers an instant "Entity Validation Failed" error and refuses to issue the UEI. The algorithm automatically flags high-volume commercial addresses, even though they are 100% legal for corporate state registration.

How to Fix It (Step-by-Step):

1. Don't use a fake residential address: Stick with your Registered Agent's address exactly as it appears on your state formation documents.
2. Force a Manual Review: When the automated search fails or shows incorrect matches, select "I don't recognize my entity" or click "Create Incident."
3. Upload Official Proof (PDF format):
   • State-stamped Articles of Organization.
   • Your IRS CP 575 or 147C letter confirming your EIN.
   • (Optional) A recent Certificate of Good Standing.
4. Monitor your FSD Ticket: A human agent at the Federal Service Desk will manually review your documents. This typically takes 3 to 10 business days. Keep a close eye on your email—if they request additional info, you only have 5 business days to reply before the ticket gets automatically closed.

Once the agent manually overrides the block, your entity status will change to "Validated," and you'll finally be able to claim your UEI.

¡Hola a todos! Quiero compartir un problema muy común (y la solución) al intentar registrar una LLC en SAM.gov para obtener el Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), especialmente para aquellos que somos no-residentes o usamos un Agente Registrado (Registered Agent).

El Problema:
Al ingresar los datos de la empresa y la dirección física del Agente Registrado, el sistema automatizado de SAM.gov rechaza la validación de inmediato y no otorga el UEI (Entity Validation Failed). El algoritmo detecta que es una dirección comercial compartida o masiva y bloquea el proceso. ¡Es frustrante porque la dirección es 100% legal ante el Estado!

Cómo solucionarlo (Paso a Paso):

1. No cambies la dirección por una residencial falsa: Mantén la dirección exacta del Agente Registrado tal como aparece en tus documentos estatales.
2. Fuerza la revisión manual: Cuando el sistema falle o muestre empresas que no son la tuya, haz clic en "I don't recognize my entity" (No reconozco mi entidad) o "Create Incident".
3. Sube documentos probatorios oficiales (en PDF):
   • Tus Articles of Organization (Artículos de Organización) sellados por el Estado.
   • La carta del IRS CP 575 o 147C que valide tu EIN.
   • (Opcional) Un Certificado de Good Standing.
4. Espera el Ticket del FSD: Un agente humano del Federal Service Desk revisará tus archivos. Esto tarda entre 3 y 10 días hábiles. Revisa tu correo diariamente porque si te piden algo, solo tienes 5 días para responder antes de que cierren el caso.

Una vez que el agente apruebe el ticket manualmente, tu entidad quedará validada y podrás reclamar tu UEI en la plataforma.
