Hello all, my bf broke his nose when he was 3 years old very badly but unfortunately did not get it fixed back then. As he has grown up though, it has formed completely crooked and he has a severe deviated septum and nasal obstruction. He completely cannot breath out of one of his nostril and it effects his sleeping quite badly and some nights he wakes up choking + he has asthma and it’s just a bit of a breathing catastrophe. He turned 18 this year and wants to fix it now but like all 18 year olds he does not have the money unless it is covered by insurance. We are both super concerned though especially about the sleeping. Would this type of thing be covered by insurance even if it has been so long since the initial break??
