Anyone have any idea whether it would be worth it to pull the 18kWhr (originally)battery out of my 2016 Chevy Volt which is now headed for the junk yard? I’ve heard there is some decent residual capacity in these old batteries. I’m hoping to add some solar to my home in the future. If yes how long could it be stored and what charge state should it be in? THX!
