Hi everyone, I’m currently on a UK Skilled Worker visa and my partner and I are expecting a baby soon.

We’re planning to travel to India with the newborn when the baby is around 3 months old, and I’m a bit confused about the travel/visa rules for babies born in the UK.

Do we need to apply for a Skilled Worker dependent visa for the baby before leaving the UK? Or would the baby’s passport and UK birth certificate be enough for travel and re-entry into the UK?

If anyone has gone through this recently, I’d really appreciate your advice and experience. Thanks!
