Hey everybody, exciting day for the NFA, unfortunately WA has been left behind.

WA state requires that all suppressors (and silencer shop tells me AOW's as well) be registered in compliance with federal law, seeing as the NFA still stands and there is only an injunction on specific parts for specific people, we must still register silencers.

as for SBR's (and SBS's in states they're legal) there is a requirement for the federal Attorney General to "approve" of them, currently the only pathway that exists for this is the ATF form 1 and 4. silencershop tells us that they are currently working on another pathway and ultimately this could allow us Washingtonians to buy SBR's with the same amount of paperwork as a Title I firearm (shotgun, rifle, etc.)

So while today is a great day and we are very excited for the 27 states where you can now purchase a silencer with just a simple NICS check, unfortunately we are not one of them, so for now we get the status quo
