Latest FF update has screwed my bookmark spacings

Hi - many years ago i set up userChrome.css file which included the following code:

:root{ --arrowpanel-menuitem-padding: 0 0px !important; }

#PlacesToolbar menuitem,

#PlacesToolbar menu{ min-height: unset !important; }

I honestly cannot remember much about the process. I'm not a techie - i would have just followed instructions rather than understood what i was doing.

I do remember that the code rectified the problem with the spacing in my bookmarks tab, after an update that had left folders and files double-spaced. It may well customise other features. Today, the latest update to 151.0.1 gave an error sound when FF restarted and the double-spacing has returned. I've checked that userChrome.css is still turned on, located it and then posted its contents above. The file has not been changed for at least 5 years.

Can anyone please tell me - in simple terms if possible(!) - what has happened and how i can fix it? I'm running Win 10.

Thanks.
