Brecon Beacons / Pen y Fan - Current Status

Does anyone know the current status of Brecon Beacons and the Pen Y Fan area - in terms of wild fires and if it's advisable to visit?

Searching online I can see they have had wild-fires earlier in the summer - but cannot see any advisories or current info.

So assuming it is ok - but it is also a long drive to find out otherwise.

Millions sent wildfire emergency phone alert warning against "any activity that could start a fire" - follow live

Hopefully this will finally silence the diehards in this sub who insist its 'ok' to use stoves with the 'I know what I am doing' mantra.

Not trying to be agitate - but been utterly gobsmacked at some of the tone deaf comments on many of the threads here in the last few weeks with some folks insisting stoves are ok 'just put it on a rock' and so forth.

All I can think is for christs sake just take a sandwich with you - and maybe some iced coffee if you desperately need caffeine when waking

Non-standard weeks template

Hello everyone

Have been playing around with Runna on trial due to the numerous recommendations.

Before I pull trigger I have an unusual use case

Due to various life logistics that are too cumbersome to explain in detail - I have to train in a four day pattern. Not a standard week.

And out of those four days I would run on Days 1 and 3 - with days 2 and 4 non run days.

Is Runna capable of doing that? From what I can see in trial version the answer is no. Which is fair enough. I realise nearly everyone else can work to a regular 7 day week pattern. And it looks like all plans are tied to seven days.

If not does anyone know of another app that might be able to accommodate my messed up life?
