Found growing on downed hardwood, in mid Michigan. I do in fact regret doing the spore print on paper towel, but you know this is where I’m at.

To me they smell very similar to morels, the older ones also smell the same as the little ones. Also on the note of the little ones I’m pretty confident in those being oysters.

Big ones had tons of those beetles on them too, which brings my confidence up, but I just don’t personally know enough.

Are the big ones past too far past their peak? They do feel a little spongier than the small ones, but as I said they smell the same so I was hopeful they’d also be enjoyable.
