I have been trying to make dual-colored dice, one Color transparent (blue), one Color solid (metallic brass), but as you can see in the picture, the brass parts don’t look very solid, rather semi-translucent and cloudy.
The way I made these was with one of those silicone split cups, and as a colour I used some vividye resin pigment transparent which I believe to be alcohol inks, and for the metallic brass I used army paints true brass war paints fanatic which are acrylic paints.
I have no idea what exactly is the reason for my results. Is it because of me using acrylic paint instead of some special pigment? Or is it due to the way metallic paints work? Did I not use enough paint?
