Help! Atmos speakers bricked when turning tv back on using eARC

I have a klipsch 700 cinema setup connected to Samsung 85inch via hdmi eARC for Dolby atmos. Since this tv only has 2 hdmi ports, I have the second hdmi connected to a splitter in order to connect two game consoles. The issue is when I turn the tv off, the klipsch turns off as expected. Great! However, the klipsch refuses to turn back on with the tv. Even using the klipsch remote or the actual power button on the bar, it is still unresponsive. I have to constantly unplug the power to klipsch and plug back in for it to turn on. Something with the handshake for eARC is causing the klipsch to brick. I have done all the trouble shooting, updated firmware, messed with all the tv audio settings, replaced my surge protector, messed with audio settings in Xbox and ps5. One thing that is curious is sometimes when I switch between ps5 and xbox, the klipsch will turn back on with tv. It is like when settings are adjusted the speakers and tv work for eARC but this is only temporary.

My main question is could the splitter be the issue? I do not have a fancy splitter, just high speed rated for 4K with 8k 2.1 hdmi cables. I have looked at splitters with eARC support but they seem to only be for connecting two TVs with eARC to one speaker system. Doesn’t seem appropriate for my setup for one tv and two gaming systems. Help! Klipsch support was useless…..
