Omni exhaust situation
So…after deciding not to go with the other UV printer, waiting for the release of the Omni, being # 1000 something on line, renovating my entire workshop in preparation for its arrival, having it delivered and finally setting it up…
I come to realize that the fumes from it are making me physically ill. (Headaches, etc.)
I’ve improved the ventilation in the area thus far and still working on more improvements (three windows in the workshop area, two of which have been opened [one having an exhaust fan pulling air out—adding another fan today pushing air in].
What I didn’t know was: during the maintenance cycle, fumes are still coming out of the rear outlet of the Omni. When the doors are closed, I smell nothing, but when they’re opened?? WOW. Hopefully, connecting the rear tube and pointing it out the window will mitigate the fumes.
I’m also thinking about going the grow tent route of if I don’t get some sort of relief.
Anyone else bothered by the fumes? If so, what have you done thus far to improve the situation?
