Have had chronically puffy eyelids since end if 2015. in the beginning they would come and go. after a big emotional trauma they almost vanished but came back stronger about 9months later in oct 2017. they got worse sometimes but nothing would reveal the cause in my bloods. my hba1c showed 5.7 in august 2018 at almost 30 yesrs old but docs in switzerland didn't consider that peoblematic. i felt exhausted all day for years. in 2022 i was given euthyrox for mild hypothyroidism but the swelling persisted. only after my restorative reproductive doc Codruta from Dublin decided i needed metformin for mild insulin resistance HOMA 2.1 fasting insulin 9 the swelling significantly reduced after only 3-4 days?! is that even possible?
