FL. Eligibility concerns
My girlfriend is pregnant and has applied for medicaid and received it. We dont live together currently but she will be moving in with me. She was working but this pregnancy has been absolute hell on her and she is unable to work anymore so she got on medicaid to cover doctors visits and the such. If my income is included then we make to much to be eligible in florida. My question is will this change things once she moves in with me. I hear that they will come after me for costs incurred and if thats the case I will have to figure out how to get her covered under another insurance plan but im also hearing she will be covered regardless up until giving birth and then 1 year after so im just confused at this point and worried financially about whats going to happen.
