Web Series Auditions- worth it?
I just got an audition for something listed as a "web series", which I don't know a ton about but when I look into it more, it seems to be a youtube channel. Has anybody on this subreddit ever auditioned for or acted in anything like this? What was it like? Was it worth it? I'd have to travel for it. Obviously everyone wants to be auditioning for television and film, even for smaller parts, and I know a good deal about that process, but I have no idea about anything concerning web series or any career stuff concerning that. There's also no pay listed, but I feel like some of my other union auditions have had nothing listed right away in the email I get. Is this worth discussing with my agent? Sorry if this post feels rushed I'm in my study hall period right now. Any advice would be much appreciated!
