Applying for NIE
Hello everyone, I'm moving from the Netherlands to Barcelona at the end of September/ start of October. I'm planning on living there for over a year; because of this, I will need to get an NIE, of course. However, I am wondering whether I should get it before I go to Spain or when I'm already there. I'll almost definitely need the NIE for paying rent, getting a bank account there and getting a job. So, I could go through the process of getting it before I move, or would it be easier to get it while I'm already there?
