Hello guys, I have a question about how to make original chord progressions.
When I started fl studio, I made random chord progressions and seen that they are so bad. So I started to watch many tutorials about good chord progressions and music theory but they always talk about using the degrees chord of our key, or say "1-4-5-1".
But if I listen to them, you can only have 7 possibilities of chords in an entire song. The same for the melody, they say to use the degrees of the key.
So how can we use more chords and know if they will sounds good or not?
I take every help.
