Update to one of my post where I was told the glasses would take anywhere between 4-6 weeks to arrive. I know it’s only a little over two weeks, but is it normal for the glasses to still be in processing and not ship out yet?
My prescription is on the higher end (-4.00, -3.75 with cyl)
The wait is killing me 😕
Alr, it’s gonna take 6-7 weeks to arrive with my prescription lenses. But Im super excited and dont know how im gonna be able to survive the next 7 weeks.
For anyone wondering: I purchased the prescription lenses and the total was $929 at a local eyewear store in New Jersey. The experience was good shopping for them. I already own the meta raybans gen 1 and 2, but wanted the even realities since they came out in 2024. Finally, I was ablw to afford them.
The plan is to reverse engineer the protocol and develop my own application on them. Essentially revamping the OS to cater to me or if the ecosystem is very locked down, maybe try to intercept the audio and use my server for AI related workflow.
Well, Imma keep my journey documented here and while I wait, if anyone has already been able to do it/doing something similar to what I wanna do.. please reach out, Im very eager to learn.
