I got 6k rank in viteee and i wanted ECM.I blindly believed the notion of ai chatbots that I had a strong chance to get a seat in category 1 itself. So i put only category 1 for all branches (ece,ecm,IT) during choice filling. I now realise that it was very foolish of me to do so :(. I had put mechanical at last but unfortunately I got that. Now I have to pay the fees by 18th of May.

Will I actually be able to participate in phase 2 counselling if I forfeit this phase 1 seat?
