Hollywood needs more stories centered around older women
Watching Remarkably Bright Creatures reminded me how much Hollywood underuses older women in leading roles. Sally Field is an incredibly actress. I loved her in Mrs. Doubtfire and in this role, she brought so much emotional depth. I’d love to see more sci-fi and fantasy built around older women instead of constantly pushing them into side-character roles. Older actresses do exist in Hollywood, but we see the same ones. That's all.
