Bc pill questions!
For reference I’ve never been on bc apart from using condoms. I’m 19 years old and very confused about how to use the pill? I went to the doctors and asked for a reference for a gynecologist and they told me I could just get it there and from what I could understand (my parents but me with a Spanish doctor when I’m not well versed in Spanish) she stated to take it AFTER my period ends I believe.
Here’s where my question is, from research many people say to take it the day my period begins, or on a Sunday? Since that’s where the packet begins. My period is supposed to start this Saturday so do I wait for Sunday then take it? The day my period starts, or when my period is over. I don’t plan on skipping my period so I’m very confused. Another thing she told me was to wait a month for everything to get situated, does that mean I should still use condoms till then? Because others state that after a week u can have sex.
I feel like I’m very behind on these things since my parents say to just not have sex so I’m not knowledgeable on these things. Any advice can help I’m supposed to pickup my pills tmr!
