Tips for building interview skills/how to not spiral after?

Hi! I am a newly admitted MSW student, starting my program this Fall. I had an interview for a stipend to pay for school and work for them as a child social worker after graduation.
I did my best in the interview, but I got nervous and blanked a little on some questions because 1- they timed it and watched the clock the whole time and 2-funding got cut, so it went from 24 spots to 9 spots.
I had a little trouble thinking that quickly on the spot, especially with a vignette question and of course, as soon as I hung up the call, I immediately thought of much better answers to the questions.

I trust that if it’s a right fit, I will get it, if not then something better will come along. It’s hard not to keep spiraling and thinking about it though!

I know I’m gonna have many more interviews going forward, does anyone have tips for social work interviews and any prep tips?
