Idk what to do.

My basement was like this when I bought it. It has evidence of mold/mildew/efflorescence from water damage from the failed sump pump and the water collection under my stairs that lead to the outside. My brother is going to fix the sump pump and the door so it stops leaking when it rains how do I treat the damage and make the space livable
