Gutted for MGW
I know there's another post and thread about it - but now it's formally confirmed, I wanted to reframe it as being gutted for him over being pissed at Tuchel.
He's missed out on what is very likely to be his only shot at a world cup. The media around his call up last year oozed genuine thrill - it means a lot to him. And it's remarkable how dampening it's been on my world cup mood.
Going to be showing him a lot of love at the weekend and likely dropping some choice words for Tuchel along the way.
