Maybe a weird request, but I just want to learn to use heat tools, do simple styles, etc. I am awful at styling my (wavy) hair, everyone says use YouTube but it seems like it would take a ton of trial and error which I don't have time for atm.
Are there places that do it for $300 or less for a session or two, or should I just suck it up and keep practicing at home?

First year Master's. I just presented a 3MT in front of the entire department. I completely blanked out TWICE (long pause and repeating to myself the words like a crazy person), I even asked for a break but then kept going, I didn't answer the question by the mic at first (though I did answer them) and the organizer seemed annoyed with me :(.
I dissociate when I panic, I've done it in more serious situations, and I took a beta blocker to prevent this but it still happened. I prepared in a lecture room before this, but the lack of sleep from the anxiety/piling work might've gotten to me. There was also no words on the slide and it was all memorized. I should've known I wasn't ready to do it.
My supervisor tells me it's okay but I feel like people just say that and I have this feeling that everyone will now think of me as an incompetent student now.
