Received card in mail total timeline

Wanted to share my updated timeline from beginning to end. I tried everything to inquire on my case and speed things up and nothing worked, just had to wait my turn. Expedite request, congressional inquires and USCIS inquires did nothing for me.

Filed 173days before expiration thinking I was filing early enough:

Receipt 11/2
Bio reuse 12/2
Expired and terminated from job 4/23
Approved 5/8 (187days)
Card in hand 5/16 (195days)

Luckily I was able to be rehired and will go back to work Monday!

11/2 Silent Approval

Guys it finally happened! I got my silent approval this morning after 187days. I filed 173days before expiration and still expired, I lost my job but will have an opportunity to return. This has been the longest wait for any renewal of mine. I tried everything, multiple outside normal processing time inquires, senator and representative inquires, 3 expedite requests, called multiple times a week. Nothing worked, just had to wait it out.

Filed online 11/2
Bio reuse 12/2
Approval 5/8

Don’t give up, it’s coming! And file early!!

I’m getting married soon so hopefully this is my longest and LAST renewal.

Saw a lot of approvals for end of Oct this week, seems like they’ve finished up almost all of October. Any early Nov approvals today? Waiting since Nov 2. 186 days 😭
