Advice: Pivoting from Pharmacy to PA
Hi guys, just like the title says i’m going from pharmacy to pa. So i recently just graduated with my B.S. in public health with a 3.5, but before that i was in pharmacy school for my junior year but left because of the mental toll it took on me and I realized pharmacy school wasn’t for me/I wasn’t ready at the time. While I did switch my major, I was dismissed from pharmacy school but that was after I changed to public health. Will that dismissal put me at a disadvantage with pa schools? I never failed any classes in pharmacy school but I did make a few D’s but for my senior year i was able to maintain a 3.3+ gpa and ended with an institutional gpa of 3.5. I am planning on taking biochemistry cause it is a prerequisite for some schools I want to apply to but wanted some advice on what i could do to have a strong application. I’m not planning on applying to this cycle cause I want to build up my pce and shadowing/volunteer
