What's the best systemic insecticide you've used for persistent spider mites indoors?

Sick of battling persistent spider mites on my indoor plants (fiddle leaf and a couple succulents), tried neem, insecticidal soap, horticultural oil and even released predatory mites with zero lasting control. Ended up using Avid (abamectin) as a foliar/spot treatment and it nuked them for a few weeks, but they came back and I'm worried about resistance and pet safety. Anyone had better luck with other systemics or miticides like bifenazate or spiromesifen, or is a soil drench actually worth it? If you used something that worked, what dose/frequency did you use and were your cats/dogs okay around the treated plants?
