I’m sure this will sound horribly naive, but what could I do to help people in need of housing? I just read a book about this and I’m horrified at the state of the US. The conditions my countrymen live in are horrendous. But I’m not rich. What can I do?
I’ve been thinking about opening my own pet supply boutique for years. I have the business idea, I’ve spent hours researching, working on branding, creating a business plan, designing the store in my head. The problem is… I’m terrified!! I have a pretty stable, well paying job, but I honestly don’t enjoy it and I don’t feel like I’m very good at it. But the idea of leaving something secure to pursue a business is so so scary. What if it fails and I lose all my savings?? I know it would be hard, especially in the beginning. The idea of being responsible for employees and being someone's boss is intimidating.
But I can’t stop thinking about it! How did you know starting your own business what the right decision for you? Or did you finally do it and totally regret it? Why?
