Going all in and focusing on one specific product (English Muffins) or trying to cast a wider net and expand product line"
Hi everyone, I'm trying to nail down a menu of items that I would like to sell. I'm looking to start selling bread at local farmers markets, community events and possibly doing weekly pick up orders. If you go to any market there is usually at least half a dozen people selling sourdough or other bread/ pastry products, but I was interested in specifically just selling English Muffins. I have a few varieties of different flavors, but at the end of the day I will just be selling the English Muffins. I do think that it would be best to just focus on this one item, but I don't want to put myself in a corner or limit my brand. But for example, I might offer a flavor that would inspire people to use the muffins in other ways than just breakfast, instead use the muffin in place of sandwich bread for a hot sandwich. I want to offer something unique and a product that 5 other people in the market are also selling.
On the flip side I could always offer other bread products to cast a wider net and be able to move more product.
