On October 12th 2024 ,Five people who started shooting at each other on Jefferson Street during TSU homecoming Three of the five involved in the shooting were wounded and hospitalized afterwards, and 24-year-old Vonquae Johnson, one of the five, was shot and killed.

On November 21st 2020 Two men are dead following a shooting in the Pennington Bend area of Nashville.
The shooting occurred at Club Wyndham Nashville vacation ownership resort, 2415 McGavock Pike, at around 12:30 a.m. Saturday. Metro Nashville police say 18-year-old Taylor Holt was found dead inside a condominium and an unidentified person at the intersection of McGavock Pike and Lumar Lane.

On May 3rd 2018 A 22-year-old man from Nashville, identified as Demarco Churchwell, was shot during a dispute inside the mall on Thursday afternoon at 2:33 p.m. Police say Churchwell has died.
