Grout stains from palm tree debris
Pool was remodeled and filled with water about two months ago. There were a couple storms a week or two after the pool was filled (I have 4 large palm trees near the pool).
I saw the debris build up along tile/grout. Sent a picture to the guy who cleans my pool and he says no problem. Well, he hasn’t been able to clean it. Had another cleaner come by and he made some suggestions but wasn’t willing to clean the stains.
I’ve tried pressure washer, small wire brush, other cleaners and these stains won’t come off. I can make a little progress but nothing near clean.
Pool contractor also seems unsure. Does anybody know how to clean this and then any type of coating to prevent future staining?
The pool had tile and grout before the remodel and I never had stains like this and that was over a 20 year period. The tile was darker so maybe there was some but I tend to notice stuff like this.
There are probably in the range of 700 of these grout lines, all are stained to some extent.
