Kagurabachi Pokemon Types
There’s been a trend on TikTok talking about what anime characters’s pokemon types would be, so I wanted to give it a try. Here’s what I thought of.
Chihiro: Water/Fairy. Enten has lots of water theming, both in the goldfish and the water droplets energy. As for fairy, Enten’s goldfish are mystical and even somewhat based in folklore with the whole “this one wards off evil, this one attracts good luck, etc”.
Shiba: Psychic/Fighting. Pretty self explanatory. Psychic for his teleportation and overall manipulation of physics, Fighting cause he’s one of the few hand to hand fighters in the series.
Sojo: Electric/Ice. Not sure I have to explain myself here.
Samura: Flying/Fire. Flying for the bird imagery and his overall speed/mobility in the air, fire cause of Suzaku.
Akemura: Bug/Dark. Bug cause of all of insect imagery for Magatsumi, Dark I shouldn’t have to explain. Although it does also have another meaning. Enten was made to destroy the Shinuchi, so having Chihiro’s Fairy type be super effective against Akemura’s dark type conveys that.
Hiruhiko: Psychic/Ghost. Psychic and Ghost do a good job of representing Kumeyuri’s illusion and telepathic abilities, and Ghost works for a character that’s seen as much death as Hiruhiko to the point he’s numb to it.
