Can a 3.5 windows driver be better than a 4.4 dongle on mobile for easy to drive headphones?

Can a 3.5 windows driver be better than a 4.4 dongle on mobile for easy to drive headphones?

Or is it impossible? I gave my friend to test my Aune SR7000 and he is saying that it's bassy and has lower resolution than his IEM which upset me, but we are trying to figure out if it's because of the dongle or not.

On my PC it runs good with 3.5 and Fiio K11 R2R with balanced cable too. But it's my first HIFI system so i can't understand how good it is.

When i meet him I'm also gonna test it with a mobile dongle. But, is it possible that Windows 10 drives better than a mobile dongle?

Thank you for your thoughts.

What are your thoughts on Aune SR7000 with Fiio K11 R2R?

What are your thoughts on Aune SR7000? I got it and I'm pretty happy.

But I can't really feel the quality and tone of my Fiio K11 R2R. Sounds almost the same with my PC driver.

I tried with oversampling, non oversampling, high gain etc. And i use a balanced cable. Listened to many different genres. Jazz, Drum n Bass, Rock, Pop...

What are thoughts on Aune SR7000? Good for gaming? I'm thinking to use them with Fiio K11 R2R.

What are thoughts on Aune SR7000? Good for FPS gaming (Like CS GO, COD, Tarkov)? I'm thinking to use them with Fiio K11 R2R.

It's gonna be my first HIFI headphones and here Turkey, i can't test them. I was thinking to get Ananda Nano or something, but now i see a second hand one with good price of SR7000. Couldn't find much reviews, especially with Gaming.

Thank you for your comments.

I want to enter the world of HIFI. I'm not obsessed with high-quality sound, but I'm a music lover. For the rest of my life, at least when I'm at home, I want to listen to very high-quality music. I need your help. My immediate goals are the Hifiman Edition XS and the Topping DX5ii. Details below.

My criteria for these headphones:

- I listen to all kinds of music. Boards of Canada, Dua Lipa, Esbjörn Svennson, Nile, etc... I need a balanced headset in every aspect.

- I don't want to use a different headset for gaming after getting these. I want to be able to comfortably hear the sound in all kinds of FPS games.

- I don't want to mess around with EQ settings. At worst, I want to make a small adjustment and continue like that.

- It must be very comfortable. I won't be taking it out of my ears for long hours. -- I think I've ruled out the Bluetooth option because the difference in quality is drastically significant.

I also need a device called a DAC, which functions like an amplifier. I'll buy a desktop DAC and plan to connect it to a TV later. I'm also probably considering a stereo speaker system.

I'm also looking for Bluetooth in this DAC, but it's not essential. I think wireless is not very common in non-gaming devices, so I've ruled that out as well.

I live in Türkiye, and the product range here is really limited. Prices are about 40% higher than the rest of the world, and economically, high-end devices don't seem very feasible for me.

Considering these conditions, my friend recommended these two:

Hifiman Edition XS. From what I've researched, the quality department seems problematic. That is, there are a lot of defective products from this brand. My friend who recommended it said he used 6 of them and they all worked fine. In short, technology is a matter of luck. According to my research, it can have glare. However, he said it didn't happen to him, probably related to the DAC used. The build quality isn't very good, but as long as it doesn't break, it's not a big deal for me. However, it's not comfortable. I have a large head; it's supposed to be good for people with large heads. I'll try it soon. He also suggested I get an Ananda, but the price difference is significant.

The Topping DX5ii was recommended to me as a DAC. From what I've read here, some of these can be defective or fail immediately. Plus, they're quite expensive.

For a temporary solution, I could definitely get a cheaper DAC of sufficient quality. I can buy a different DAC when I need to connect speakers.
