Bone ID
Ive had this bone for years but never knew what it was. Found on railroad tracks in northern Massachusetts. obviously broken pretty bad and the marrow is completely calcified. Also, interestingly, the twigs pictured was in it when I found it and the bone seems to be formed around them. CLEARER PICTURES IN THE COMMENTS. Almost completely certain its a bone belonging to a medium/large mammal. White tailed deer or cow vertebrae or pelvis fragment maybe?
